CARNIVAL IN SERENADE” TONIGHT
In the Crystal seresteiros Palace rescue old gears

Traditional in the calendar pre-carnival of Petrópolis, seresteiros of the Imperial Serenade group will be introducing itself tonight, from the 20h, with free admission in the Crystal Palace. The event has as it fear “Carnival in serenade”, where the musicians will bring afloat the gears that did success in years' carnivals 20 at 60

Highlight for the repertoire, gathering 73 famous musics as “Zezé's Hair”, “Maria Candelária”, of 1952, “Black Mask” of 1967, “We, the bald” of 1942, “General of the band” of 1950, “Fanzoca of the radio” of 1958, “Larger is God” of 1949, “Linda brunette” of 1933, “Confetti” of 1952e “Dawn” of 1941, besides other hit’s that continue carrying the public to the madness.

The event is promoted by the Culture and Tourism Foundation.

The Imperial Serenade had beginning in May 1997 and was coordinate for Wilson Francisco Fagundes until June 2004. Starting from July 2004, with 40 integrant, was created Seresteiros' Association of the Imperial Serenade, having as Presidente the Mr. Odi Flávio Simas, which coordinates and governs the group and organizes the events with the directory even today.

The “Imperial Serenade” has for purpose rescue the good quality music and MPB's Great Names.

At the beginning touched several places as São cathedral, the Imperial Museum, Negro Rio Palace of the Princess Isabel, koeler Palace, Baron Mauá's Palace and the City council. Nowadays the presentations occur in fixed location in the Crystal Palace, all last Thursday of month, to the 20h.

All the shows have free admission and the appreciative are recepcionados with a livreto contend the letters of all the musics that will be introduced by seresteiros.

SERENADE SINGS GEARSSERENATA CANTA MARCHINHAS

In the today's night, the Crystal Palace will be stage for it pre-carnival of the Serenade

It seems that the Carnival famous and unforgettable gears are winning one in the breath and being rediscoveries, mostly for a public who does not meet in the new musics and rhythms the enthusiasm for the Carnival. Thinking about showing the value of them and seizing the moment, Petrópolis' Imperial Serenade promotes today, from the 20h, in the Crystal Palace, a Carnival true dance, touching only the gears.

The goal is to introduce about 73 gears, making a travel by time, runninging through years between 1989 up to 1970, when the gears started to being substituted by other rhythms. Among composers who will be reminded are Chiquinha Conzaga, Lamartine, Mário Lake, Ovenbird, Aroldo Wolf, Noel Rosa and so many another.

This will be a moment to revive or to live the golden times of the salon Carnival, when the main was, to the sound of the gears, promote the serpentine and confetti war. The dance pre-carnival of the Imperial Serenade will be open by Laio Simas, introducing Little broom and Party of the Interior.

IMPERIAL SERENADE DOES HOMAGE TO Brazil

seresteiros of the Imperial Serenade group will be introducing itself tonight, from the 20h, with free admission in the Crystal Palace. The event has as it fear “Homage to Brazil”.

Highlight for the partnership between Agenor Costa and Laio Simas who represent I meet him of two generations in a very beautiful presentation of the Watercolor Brazil's Music”, Agenor has 84 and Laio just 12.

The repertoire still introduces famous songs as “Marina de Dorival Caymmi, “Appeal” of Badem Pawel and Vinícius de Morais, “Carolina de Chico Buarque, “Punishment” of Dolores Last, among others. The event will be provided by the Culture Foundation and Petrópolis' Tourism.
