From this work on, the goal is even to consolidate the presence of the Imperial Serenade in the city, valorizing the work initiated by Wilson Fagundes, “We will give continuity to your wish, because of this we create the association. We also go seek unit among seresteiros groups, but with each one keeping your individuality”. As first step, Odi counted that it invited seresteiros of the project Petrópolis in Serenade to introduce close in May, when the complete Imperial Serenade eight years of existence, and in June, in your hundredth presentation. Other directors' goal is to give continuity to the Small Serenade, and for that are entering in touch with the schools so that they support the initiative.

Odi Simas counted that it never expected being the president of the Imperial Serenade, because when it entered the group only was to accompany the son, Laio Simas, 11 years, which today is one of the stars of the Serenade. “Many people praise us, because they tell that we carry our son for the serenade, but actually it was the opposite, was him who carried us her.

The participation of the family of Odi in the Imperial Serenade is demonstration that all seresteiros form an unique family, which has as characteristic love by the good national music. This family, which we gather once in a while for a confraternity, is formed by seresteiros Abelardo, Agenor, Celso, Carlos, Darlan, Fernando, Odi, Moisés, Sylvio, Walmir, Déa, Elisa, Helena, Hellenice, Irene, Irene Paim, Janne, Lizete, Lu, Luciene, Maria Rocha, Enely, Suely, Vera, Waldete and the musicians Amilton, Arezi, César Augusto, Laio and Manoel Duque. Still make part of this family seresteiros that today do not accompany anymore the work, like Domingos, Job, Regina, Xandra and Hilda. To make part of the family is necessary to attend to the rehearsals, which happen at the centre of Culture, to the 19:30.
